Video Service Subscription Dilemma…for an Otaku
First and for most I’m an OTAKU!! read ‘em and weep , I couldn’t care less; the dilemma is between just the 2 choices Netflix; which we all know already, it has the whole package; Movies , TV Show and most importantly for me Anime, but here in Canada, the selection is quite limited; but I am not the only one who will benefit from it, since I’m moving to Vancouver next year (Yes my Girlfriend and I decided it’s time) anyway she’ll love Netflix, so that’s settle.
Now, the dilemma appeared Funimation Elite Video Subscription is now available here also in Canada too, for almost the same exact price I’m getting way more selection than what Netflix Canada has in terms of anime (No US has way more selection). Now I’m torn, the selection pretty much is comparable to Netflix US in terms of Anime Selection if i get Funimation Elite Video but , I am missing out on the movies and TV shows Netflix has.
My Otaku self says definitely get Funimation Elite Video; If I didn’t have the stance of only 1 Online Video Service Subscription at a time, I’m so getting both of these, and dont get me wrong I love Funimaion for doing this but the timing is weird and wrong. I question about the timing , remember We’re moving in together now so I no longer should think selfishly from now on; she respects my hobby, I give her credit for that. I need to do something in return. I’m sad now. oh well I guess I’ll talk this more with her; maybe she can help. the key phrase for today …Oh well. 
Seriously!? This Blog Site is still alive?
Yeah, just like all the other things I bought and owned. Most lie in the corner gathering dust, Ok, for this particular instance maybe cyberdust. I mean, WOW! last time I checked this blog was June, 2010. sad, really sad.
On a good note I’m addicted to Twitter now, so If you want to be annoyed at the shear amount of Anime, PC, and PS3 Fanboy-ism, then feel free to follow me.
Anyway rummaging through my cellphone found a cool photo, I forgot it existed, you can tell It’s pretty much a few months old, considering there’s no snow covered streets. I’ve got to admit though that’s a sick car, probably the reason why I took the photo in the first place.

So … might as well talk about games since I’m kinda officially back. For the past months, I’m on my MMORPG addiction, No!, The New WOW wasn’t the reason, that thing is getting old, I’ve moved on. Actually to be precise I’ve been moving on and on and on to different MMORPG, let’s see I started with Final Fantasy XIV, got in on the Beta and continued playing on when the game released, Stunning graphics but… It feels more like a second job (yes, I’m comparing it to my “real” job). The game did too much emphasis on the profession,and there’s more depth to it than the actual gameplay, seriously, it actually felt like a real part time job, It got annoying, I quit. Moving on, the DC Universe Online (PC) caught my attention, again, got in on the Beta, then continued on to the final game, and so far, it’s holding up beyond my expectations. I was looking for something fresh, DCUO had it, and I’m still hooked, still playing it.
But, the” moving on” part, still got me wanting back on a WOW-esque lore, That’s where Forsaken World, Guild Wars 2 and Tera Online, comes in the picture. I know that’s crazy, Three MMORPG, in the same year, but hey I’m not alone in this (I guess?). One thing’s for sure Two of these won’t hurt my wallet that much, considering Forsaken World and Guild Wars 2 doesn’t require subscription fees, well, Forsaken World is Free to Play and while Guild Wars 2 and Tera Online requires the initial investment to purchase the game, Guild Wars 2 subscription fee-less as oppose to Tera Online , well I guess the” online” word should’ve given it away. Three awesome games to look forward too, 2011 MMORPG all set. Now if only I can think of a way to manage my time to fit everything especially with all these PS3 Exclusives coming out this year too *sigh* oh well, whatever will be will be hmm sounded like a song?
Anyway rant finished. I’m tired still haven’t recovered from staying up late to watch the Sony Playstation Meeting 2011, and yes, PSP2 or codename NGP “Next Generation Portable” is real and I’m psyched, definitely a must buy this year.

Hey my birthdays’ coming up, and I got a tip that I’m getting a gift card from Best Buy! which will probably be invested on games again. I’m just that sad.
Podcast Beyond, PS Nation Podcast and Sarcastic Gamer PSP got me through the hectic day of work, I am grateful.

XOIEA.COM Finally…Mine, all MINE!!
Just a little update , So… out of the blue I decided to finally buy xoiea.com domain name. nothing special just Impulse Buying ..I guess, anyway talk about Impulse .. I also Finally got a Tattoo.. and yes it involves the word “xoiea” too..and Haruhiism text too. here just take a look.
as you can see on the Haruhiism logo I added the text at the bottom.
So where is the word “xoiea” you ask. take a look at the circle portion of the tribal tattoo, right in the middle is the crisscross which is the “X”, on the north part is the letter “O” on the west side is “I” , east side “E” and at the bottom or south is the letter “A”.
Ooh so clever of me. LOL!!!
woo!..it took almost 2 hours of mind numbing pain but sometimes it feels good in some part of it, probably the masochist in me was kicking in.
anyway I’m glad I got this done. I had this design since college, (the xoiea part not the Haruhiism) and it looks cool. And please no bashing on this, and don’t be a-nal about this. And Yes! I did thought out this one many times. No regrets, In fact I’m happy.
Randomness Sickness again!!
Well here I go again with my Randomness.
Anyway just recently watch K-ON , …after a minute thru the show , In an instant, I just had to add it on my animes-to-watch list this Spring Season. I gotta say moe factor was in good dosage , kawaii elements are in decent showing. Oh forgot to add in It’s about 4 girls forming a band. That!, right there, just got me sold. Although as a bass player myself I didn’t feel much fondness on the character (MIO) although on the Ending Theme she did sang, which at least should have push me towards her character. BUT nah… anyway All in All really recommend this anime. (I just hope I don’t jinx this just like Manabi Straight)

Welcome to WordPress.com. This is your first post. Edit or delete it and start blogging!Finally my own domain named blog. I didn’t bother deleting this blog( for sentimentality), since, yes ,this is my first blog and I guess this is WordPress’ way of welcoming. Well much oblige. To make things clear, I do have MySpace and Friendster where one can do such simple blogging, but somehow it isn’t blogging friendly to me. I guess nothing beats a weblog dedicated site. I know it isn’t a comparison but they were the only ones popular introduced to me at that time. WordPress wasn’t even on my radar, let alone Blogger. Go ahead with the “Living Under a rock” cliche’ . It’s just that i never did find blogging interesting, not until somebody comments on your thoughts and the next thing you know, you’re arguing, debating and for the fun part of it sharing a common interest with that person. which makes it all warm and fuzzy inside.(now that’s just stupid). but I never did find it interesting until just recently, thanks to forums I guess and to all the guys who loves anime. (go get laid already!).
Anyway lets start blogging.
